A rare opportunity to own one of the 27 out of a total of 67 walnut model, totally handmade Pack Leader guitars made in the UK in 1977 and 1978. This one is number 006, the first Walnut one .These are probably one of the greatest playing and sounding electric guitars available. This guitar was designed by Terry Pack and built by Roger Bucknall who is the owner of Fylde guitars and is an incredible guitar maker and problem solving engineer (it was his idea to introduce the first through truss rod which enabled the neck to be adjusted both concave and convex. The guitars had Di Marzio pick ups (PAF in the neck position and Super distotion in the bridge position. The body and neck is solid African Walnut, the fingerboard is ebony, inlaid with abalone leaves and solid sterling silver stems. These guitars may one day reach 59' Les Paul prices !!!! Who knows ??
