Very RARE 1959 Emile Grimshaw SS short scale semi electric, as used by Joe Brown, Pete Townsend
Rare 1959 Grimshaw SS, natural finish, fitted Bigsby, original case. There are very rare instruments, this one has had the original control panel replaced and rewired and it is fine, two volume, two tones. It has a short scale fingerboard 23.25", a semi chunky neck profile with 45mm fingerboard width and a radiius around 7.5" an easy action which makes the whole thing a joy to play. The Grimshaw SS was made famous by Joe Brown, Pete Townsend and other rockers of the early days. This one was beleived to have been owned by Dave Berry but I have no provenance.
This guitar is a rare beuaty.
